Devonia Sheepskins Visitor Centre

The Devonia Sheepskins Visitor Centre opened for the first time in April 2010 enabling visitors to see how a Devonia sheepskin rug is made and also view old machinery and a selection of different types of sheepskins including some from pure and rare breeds. You must see the White Face Dartmoor sheepskin rug.....its got the wow factor!

In 2011 the Centre is open from January to December 23rd, Monday to Friday from 11am to 4pm Monday to Friday although it will be closed on the following days/dates when the tanners are on holiday:

> all bank holidays - excepting 29th April.
> Tuesday 31st May to Friday 3rd June.
> Monday 25th July to Friday 5th August.

The Visitor Centre is in Buckfastleigh at the address given below. Entry is free and there is plenty of on site parking.

You can also take look at the various sheepskin products in our shop. These include sheepkin rugs, cushions, pouffes, gloves, mitts, hats, slippers, moccasins, dusters and chamois.
